No rain, no sun, a bit of wind but lovely outside for Chelsea & Lucy’s wedding near Stone. Best of all was the rapturous response to our version of ‘Delilah’–Stoke City fans I guess !
Wow what an amazing group. Beautiful music and such lovely people. They made Meadow Bank’s afternoon garden party a day to remember. Wonderful staff, wind proof tent, lovely residents & a fab troupe of Carltonians-led for once by Jo who won on the raffle!–this was a special afternoon. Topping it all, Speaker of the House of Commons & local MP,Lord Hoyle decided to pop his head into the tent & compliment us.Mind you, we were paid up front a month ago & we had to do it well.Thanks for your hospitality Meadow Bank & Mel in particular. If you need us again-we’ll be there And ta for not keeping me in too!
