A well worth trek through the Derbyshire Dales brought us to Shirland for Rev Chris Andrew’s thank you to his congregants for keeping the flag flying during their 2 year spell without a minister. It was special. So is he. A bit blustery on the hillock in the garden but so what–it was a brilliant and unique occasion –thanks for your hospitality and for choosing us x
Nikki & Scott’s super wedding at Owen House Farm in Moobberleywith a really wold group of guests–luckily we were micced up so we could be heard and hear each other too. It was a great day out in the CVheshire countryside–no farm smells either ! A great place for a string and flute group to play for a lovely couple .
A wonderful hour entertaining people at Belong was highlighted by Arthur conducting us ^ residents dancing Zimmerframes et al to our last number –Can Can !!! A special experience
It was only the 2nd time ever in 37 1/2 years that we were asked for solely classical music–we peppered it with a few lighter pieces . But Haydn, Handel, Boccherini, Bach & Corelli were the mainstays of this lovely, serene wedding in the Graded listed building that is Worsley Court House. Definitely different and great fun for us. Be safe & well and thanks for having us –it was our pleasure .
Our string quartet & flute was for once safe and sound in Salford Manchester–no travelling for us for this local wedding event.

Stunning weather but a bit windy for our string quartet & flute so Claire Short’s Dad, Chris saved the day with this amazing pergola. It was just the jobbie at this really stunning venue in Derbyshire. Delightful people, setting, couple and as for the father of the bride–well, he gets 10 out 0f 10! It was a magical afternoon. Everything from my perspective went off according to my plan, with smooth transitions and the music was superb and totally appropriate for the occasion.
