Carlton Ensemble's classically trained musicians include graduates from the Royal Academy of Music, Royal Northern College of Music, Dartington College & the universities of York & Manchester.
Many of us teach music privately, in schools, local music services & play in regional orchestras.
Martin our flautist graces a local rock band--on bass!-- Danny our cellist plays his own compositions & folk wherever he can --that includes Japan-&
our founder doubles as a freelance features journalist & radio broadcaster.
We've been flown to Antwerp & Glasgow, played all over the UK & on a number of occasions for Princess Royal.
